I also knitted this Chef for my second youngest Nephew for christmas, especially because he loves cooking. Again i made all the accessories detachable for more playing fun becase the pattern makes them attached.
I made this mechanic for my youngest nephew instead of buying him cheap rubbish; because of not having a wage coming in for another month till i start my new job. He loves cars so i thought this would be very appropriate for him. I especially made sure all the extras were detachable (even his rag) so he could be played with.
Some little characters i knitted as christmas presents for that personal 'i thought of you touch', each specifically tailored to the individual e.g. bright pink for my teenage neice.
I've been collecting all these extras for a while, just waiting to have a house to put them in. Plus I made the cereal packets myself and have been making more items for the rest of the house which I will post later when more rooms are finished.
I love my tiny teddy. I used miniature knitting needles i bought from Miniatura at the NEC in Birmingham and skiens of embroidery thread instead of wool.
A pink hat and scarf for my daughter and a black hat with blue scarf for my son; which he requested. I also knitted some years ago for my older sons when they were little but with black and white scarfs and hats because they supported Newcastle FC.
